Specifically, the Thrive platform connects to AI tools such as OpenAI to support users with job search tasks such as creating new resumes and cover letters and providing career pathway recommendations.
AI use within Thrive's career development tools focuses on streamlining and enhancing the resume creation processes. By integrating AI into specific functionalities, Thrive offers efficiency in parsing resumes and job posts by analyzing key information such as skills and experiences. Users can effortlessly upload their resumes to Thrive's platform and receive immediate value through the structured organization of their information. This process helps job seekers optimize their resumes for application tracking systems (ATS) by identifying critical keywords and phrases. Thrive tools help to streamline resume building by using AI to generate resumes. Users can input their education and work experience, and the AI assists in structuring this information into a professional resume format, saving time and effort.
Thrive’s AI tools do not use or consider personal identifiers such as gender, age, race, ethnicity, address, or any other protected demographic information. This helps job seekers achieve application and career equity that may not have been available because of socioeconomic status, or any disabilities that may limit one’s ability to use and access job tools.
The outputs of Thrive’s AI tools require job seekers to review, edit and ensure accuracy, and are dependent on human decision-making to consider and decide on the next steps such as applying for a role and opting in or out of learning options available to them on the Thrive platform.

Fill your open roles faster with Thrive. By posting your open roles to the Thrive platform, your job posts are promoted to a featured position in job seeker results. Thrive connects job seekers to these roles using skills-based matching from job postings to resumes.
AI-powered skills-based exploration
Job seekers discover new career paths and learning opportunities with the Thrive Career Path Explorer. They can identify their skills, what career paths are available to them based on those skills and learning recommendations based on career interests. Plus, they get up-to-date insights into their local job market, salary data, and nearby job opportunities.
Build and optimize tailored resumes
Thrive’s Resumes tool helps job seekers take the guesswork out of resumes. Using AI-enabled tools, they can quickly create a new resume by selecting and filling in a template or uploading and editing their existing resume. Plus, they can build and save multiple resumes, allowing job seekers to apply to multiple roles with a customized resume quickly.
Search, save, and manage jobs
Job searches are simplified and organized. Job seekers can search for jobs directly from Thrive, which connects directly with job boards such as ZipRecruiter, Careerjet and LinkedIn. They can save jobs and keep track of their success by moving those jobs from bookmarked to applied to interview within the Job Tracker.
Free Learning Center
The Thrive Learning Center offers access to free resources designed by our career expert partners to equip job seekers with the tools and knowledge needed to excel in areas such as creating resumes, writing cover letters, applying for jobs, and prepping for and practicing for interviews.
Thrive Chrome Extension
Using the Thrive Chrome Extension, job seekers can see the keywords and skills that will get them noticed by employers by including them on their resumes. Plus, they can save jobs from popular job sites like ZipRecruiter and Linkedin to the Thrive Job Tracker to apply to later or compare against their Skills ID profile generated from the Career Path Explorer.
